Answer

By self-declaring time in care, the university can ensure that you can receive information about the support you are eligible for and that they can inform you of useful support services. It means that we will try and reach out to you to offer our support package before you become a registered student here and is a great way to find out how to apply for our £1,000 Cash Bursary for Care-Experienced Students.

By Self-Declaring your Care-Experienced Status we will only use this to offer relevant support to yourselves and contact you to let you know about the support on offer at the university.
