Students Under Eighteen Years Old. Can I join Clubs and Societies?

Answer

The Student Union and the university encourages active participation in activities, groups and societies, as they can form an integral part of your time here at Salford. It is a great opportunity to gain new experiences and friendships, however there may be some restrictions on what societies you can join, due to legal and safety requirements. If there is a particular activity, group or society that you wish to join, then it is recommended to contact the activity/group organiser and the universities Under 18 adviser. You can make an appointment or contact them by the web pages. You can view all of Salford's student societies here.

I haven’t done this fully yet as Jane has very recently written a few processes around this area so it may need to be updated to reflect this… and thus also any FAQ for Under 18’s J
