Is there a waiting list/how long do I have to wait to see someone?

Answer

  • Wellbeing assessments and appointments:  If you would like to speak to a Wellbeing Adviser, please could you visit https://www.salford.ac.uk/askus/support/wellbeing-and-counselling where you will find the link to fill out the online wellbeing referral form.  After you have filled out the wellbeing referral form you will be sent a link to book an appointment with a Wellbeing Adviser or we may book a same day appointment for you. If you have any problems completing the form or would like to ask further questions, please call us on 0161 295 0023 choose option 1 then option 1

  • Counselling: first you need to have a wellbeing assessment to ensure counselling is suitable for you. If counselling is suitable, you will be placed on a waiting list and when we have availability for you to start counselling, you will receive an email to book yourself in for an initial counselling appointment. The waiting time for you to start Counselling can vary depending on the time of year.
