I have a Reasonable Adjustments Plan – can I submit a PMC (Personal Mitigating Circumstances) form?

Answer

You cannot PMC for circumstances that are covered by your Reasonable Adjustment Plan, unless there has been a serious exacerbation of disability, such as an unexpected hospital admission.  For circumstances other than your disability, the usual PMC (personal mitigating circumstances) eligibility applies.

If you have gone over your coursework deadline (including an extension from Disability & Learner Support) you will need to a submit Personal Mitigating Circumstances (PMC) form. There is further information on the Salford website: http://policies.salford.ac.uk/display.php?id=305. The Students’ Union is also able to provide further support.
