How many instalments can a student have to pay their fees?
Answer
If you are a self- funding Undergraduate student you can set up an instalment plan to pay your fees over five equal consecutive instalments (this excludes any deposit you were required to pay as part of your offer). The first instalment is due the month following course commencement. For example, if you are due to start your course in September and the cost (after any deposit) is £10,000 you would pay £2,000 each month between October and February.
If you are a self- funding Postgraduate student you can set up an instalment plan to pay your fees over seven equal consecutive instalments (this excludes any deposit you were required to pay as part of your offer). The first instalment is due the month following course commencement. For example, if you are due to start your course in September and the cost (after any deposit) is £14,000, you would pay £2,000 each month between October and April.
If you are Home/EU Student receiving a Post Graduate Loan from Student Finance then you have the option to set your payment plan up in 3 instalments in line with the dates you will receive these payments from them. If this is not suitable, you can set up the standard 5 instalments as listed above.
If you are studying a single module then you can set up an instalment plan to pay your fees over three equal consecutive instalments. For example, if you are due to start your course in September and the cost (after any deposit) is £6,000 you would pay £2,000 each month between October and December.
This is all done as part of your online registration.
