How is the PPD calculated and when will it be refunded back to me?
Answer
The prompt payment discount is 3% on the amount payable for tuition fee, after any other discount/bursary has been applied. If you pay your full fee upon registration, the discount will be applied at that point and you will be prompted to pay the lower amount.
To qualify for the discount, you must pay your fees in full at or before registration.
If you decide to pay your full fee before this point, we would ask that wherever possible you should pay the fee minus the discount. If you have not taken the discount into consideration when transferring your funds, you can apply for the refund by contacting the Income and Treasury team at Income-Treasury@salford.ac.uk to request the refund. Please note the refund will be made back to the original payer in the method the payment has been made.
