If a student no longer plans on starting their course – can they have their deposit refunded?

We can refund your deposit if you do not meet one of the conditions set out in your offer letter or if your visa application has been refused or rejected by UKVI (for any reason other than a fraudulent application.) In this case you will need to provide a copy of your visa refusal notice as part of your request. Deposit refunds may be considered in other exceptional circumstances such as national or international emergencies.
