I can’t meet my coursework deadline, can I get an extension?

Answer

If you are unable to meet a deadline you are advised to speak with the relevant tutor.  If it becomes clear you will not be able to meet a deadline for a particular reason you can submit a Personal Mitigating Circumstances form to explain your extenuating circumstances.  This may allow you to take the assessment at a later date. You are advised to read through the advice from askUS before submitting a PMC (here) to ensure you understand the circumstances in which a PMC applies and what evidence you will need. You can use the personal mitigating circumstances (PMC) form to advise the University of your circumstances and apply for late or non-submission of your work.
