Current registered students can request a letter through Advantage. The types of letters we offer include a general proof of study letter, a bank letter, a letter showing tuition fee payments and Council Tax Excemption Certificates. A full list of letters available can be found here.
We aim to produce letters within 3-5 working days. Please note, if we need to contact your School to confirm any additional information you require this may add to the time it takes us to produce the letter for you. Once your letter has been produced, we will email it to your university email account.
Before you request your letter, please make sure that your address details are up to date as these will be included on your letter. We have an online self-service portal for you to do this which you can access here: University of Salford - Update Your Contact Details. To log in to the self-service portal, you will need your Student ID (for example @99999999) and your Self-Service PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, please use the FORGOTTEN PIN button at the bottom of the self-service portal page.
