Most e-Books available on the ProQuest Ebook Central platform can be downloaded for offline reading.

On the left of the book screen, you will see a Download button.

When you click on this you can choose the length of time you want to download the book for, and you may be given a choice of formats - PDF or ePub.  Make your choices, and click Download.  The downloaded file will be a .acsm file.

You will also be told what software you need to open the file, and be provided with a link to the software if you do not already have this installed on your PC or mobile device.
