Nexis Business and News will provide you with the full text of newspaper articles on a huge range of topics.  It provides content from local, regional and national papers from around the world. 

You can find Nexis via Library search, which gives access to all the Library’s resources.

 

To access Nexis Business and News

  1. Connect to Library Search and sign in with your University username and password.

  2. Search for Nexis Business and News (Make sure you select either the Books and More or Everything options for your search)

  3. The database should be the first item in the search results.Click on the link for online access

  4. You are now ready to type in your search terms.

 

To search -

Because the database has such wide coverage, you will probably need to add some additional filters to your search – see below.

  • Select where your keywords must appear –

  • Select which dates you want to search.

     

  • Select which news publications you want to search.For example you may want to restrict your search to UK National Newspapers, or to Major World Publications (English)

     

 

To read and save articles -

Click on the title of any article you want to read.  Save it by using the download option.
