Most of the journals to which the Library subscribes are available electronically, so can be used wherever and whenever you want.

To find journals the best way is to use Library Search

Either search for a journal title in the search box, using the Books & More tab.

  • use the filters on the right under 'Resource Type' to select  to select Articles
  • and under 'Availability' choose Full Text Online or Available in the Library to further limit your search

Or use the e-Journals link at the top of the page to browse or search a list of journals available to you online.

For both print and electronic journals, Library Search shows the years available to you - if you require access to content outside these dates, then you can use the Document Delivery service.

To access an e-Journal, just click the link in the View It tab. If you are off-campus, then you will probably be asked to login using your University network username and password.

To access a print journal, go to the relevant Library and browse the journals shelves - these are arranged alphabetically.  For journals shown as being in Store, please ask at the Library support desk.

You can also search for articles within journals using Library Search - more on that here
