Some e-books will allow you to print from them.  It depends on which platform the e-Book is on, and any restrictions placed on the book by its publisher.

Copyright Law generally allows you to print or copy up to one chapter or 5% of an e-Book, whichever is greater. Some e-Book platforms have Digital Rights Management incorporated into them, which will control how much you print or copy.  When using e-books, you must remain within the Copyright Law and any terms and conditions of the platform you’re using.
