Yes, you can access past exam papers from off-campus. To access past exam papers, you can go directly to USIR, where exam papers are stored: http://usir.salford.ac.uk/exampapers/.

You can also use the link on the Student Channel, under the Library & Learning Support tab:

You can then either search or browse for exam papers. Once you have found an exam paper, the record will have a link for on-campus access and a link for off-campus access:

Use the off-campus link to open the exam paper if you aren’t in the university. It will ask you to log in with your network username and password (the same one used for Blackboard) before opening the PDF.

If you are trying to access an exam paper that you have found in Library Search from off-campus, then please do the following:

  • Click into the ‘Details’ tab
  • Click ‘Link to Digital Repository’ in the grey box on the right hand side

This will then take you to the record in USIR. Click the off-campus link as explained above.
