From June 2017, the Clifford Whitworth library will be undergoing the second phase of a £6.2million refurbishment. Whilst this will eventually lead to a much better library for our students, it will inevitably cause some disruption.

The phased approach to the work will mean that as much of the building will remain in use as is possible. There will be noise and inconvenience whilst construction work takes place but we’ll do this outside of busy times.  Study spaces will be at a premium, but we’ll direct you to alternative study spaces elsewhere on campus.

To find out more about the refurbishment and how it might affect you, please check the dedicated website and blog.

If you have any specific questions or queries about the refurbishment and how it might affect you, please email the project team at Library-LDP@salford.ac.uk.
