We purchase e-books from different suppliers, and you will notice that some e-books differ in their look and feel. However, there are some common features to all e-books.
When you find a book on Library Search, click on the 'Online access' button to gain access to the e-book.
Once you're on the e-book platform, you may have to click on a link to open the book: e.g.Read Online, View this book or something similar. Sometimes there is a PDF option.
The number of people that can use an e-book at the same time varies, depending on the supplier.
Occasionally you will be advised that the e-book is in use and that you should try again later. E-books will open on a first come, first served basis.
When the e-book opens, there will usually be a navigation section on the left of the screen for accessing chapters. The full text of the e-book will be displayed on the right.
