Membership applies to all members of the public, aged 16 and above, who live, work or study in the Salford area. You will be required to provide proof of your address when you come to collect your card.
You must complete an application form and provide proof of address to obtain a Community Access membership card. The information will be used to create a borrower's account within the library management system. The membership card will enable you to;
- enter University library facilities
- borrow library items.
Please show your membership card to library staff when requested. Membership is not transferable. It is your responsibility to notify the University of Salford library staff of any change of address or other contact details.
All members of the library are expected to be courteous to our staff and other library users.
Your behaviour within the library should not disturb other library users, degrade the learning environment or damage library property. Please observe guidance and signage in the library relating to noise, eating, drinking, silent areas and using mobile phones.
Please note that you will be asked to leave the library if your behaviour is unsuitable.
