Books: Members with borrowing rights can borrow up to four books at a time for free. All you need is your membership card.We also have a wide range of print journals and DVDs that are available for borrowing.
Please remember, there are fines and charges for overdue items and not all items are available for borrowing by non-University members. However, items that cannot be borrowed can still be used while you are in the Library. This includes reference access to a wide range of journals and magazines.
Borrowing is not possible with outstanding fines on your Library record.
Members are welcome to use our libraries study spaces. Please be aware of our different Library zones (for example the silent zone). Unfortunately Community Access members are not able to book any of the group or individual study rooms; these rooms are only available to current students and staff. The only exception to this is non-medical helpers who are helping students.
External members are not eligible to use the Library’s networked computers within the pc suites or the Library laptops. These are for current staff and students only.
Guest WiFi :
Free WiFi is available for for external and guest users. Guests can connect to this by enabling WiFi on their device and selecting ‘WiFi-Guest’.
