If you are a distance learner, then there are a number of ways you contact us without having to come into the Library. There is a dedicated page for support for distance learners on our website at the following address: www.salford.ac.uk/library/use/off-campus-learners
A wide variety of online help is also available on our Skills for Learning webpages
If you need help from the Library, you can contact us by using any of the contact methods to the right of this page, such as chat, email, telephone.
You can also contact your Academic Support Librarian for more subject specific help, or for help with referencing and finding information. You can find the contact details for the librarian for your school here
If you need any IT support, or have any issues with your passwords or email, then you can contact our IT department, either through their website www.its.salford.ac.uk/, by email on firstname.lastname@example.org, or by telephone on +44 (0)161 295 2444. Please note the IT phone service is staffed between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
There are also a number of online user guides available at www.salford.ac.uk/library/help/user-guides.
