Updated ID card information (23/06/17)
ID cards will need to be shown to the staff at the desk at the temporary entrance to Clifford Whitworth Library during Library Development work.
If your ID card is not working on the gates to get into the library, then in the first instance ask the staff on the library enquiry desk if they can see why it isn’t working. If library desk staff are able to see why it isn’t working, then they will be able to direct you to the appropriate place to get it sorted out. Please note: library staff may not be able to give you specific details as to why your card is not working, but they should be able to tell what the nature of the problem is with the card.
If there is a problem with your student account (such as problem with tuition fees or registration), then you will be directed to AskUs in University House.
If the problem is with the ID card itself, then you will be directed towards the Estates department main reception in the Maxwell building.
