You can find books in the library by searching Library Search, our online catalogue. Library Search can be accessed both on and off campus. There are links on the library website, on the student channel (under the ‘Library & Learning Support’ tab), and on the staff channel. There are also dedicated PCs for searching Library Search in all of our libraries.

If you just want to find books, click the search icon on the Library Search homepage and then choose ‘Books & more’ from the drop down menu:

You can then filter your search to show books available in the library, e-books available online, or both by using the filter tools on the right hand side of the search results screen.

If we have a physical copy of the book in the library the description will read 'Available at' followed by the location. If we have an electronic copy the description will read 'Online Access'.  For some books, we will have both a physical and an electronic copy:

Library Search also allows you to search for electronic resources, such as articles, journals and databases, that the university has access to.
