If your ID card does not let you borrow a laptop from the laptop safes when scanned, there are two reasons why it may not be working:
- Firstly, your card may not have been set up correctly with access to the laptop safes. If this is the case, you will need to take your ID card to the main reception in Maxwell or Allerton building and ask it for it to be re-badged to give you access.
Please note - firstly check to see whether any laptops are still available when scanning your card. If there are no blue lights showing on the laptop cabinets, then it indicates that no laptops are currently available.
