Laptop loans are self-service. To borrow a laptop, you need to scan your ID card on the black sensor below the keypad on the laptop safes. The screen above the keypad will then tell you which number locker has been unlocked. You then need to open the locker, unplug and remove the laptop and charger. Then close the locker.

If the laptop safe opens a locker without a laptop inside it, or there is no charger inside the locker, then please ask at the Information Desk for assistance.

Please note, laptops must not be taken out of the library. You are responsible for the laptop for the period of time it is on loan to you. It must not be left unattended or loaned to anyone else as a fee will be charged for stolen, lost or damaged laptops.
