You can search for Salford theses and dissertations using Library Search. First sign in to Library Search, then click on the 'Advanced Search' link on the Library Search homepage.

Choose 'Theses (University of Salford)' as the 'Material Type' from the drop down list and add author, title or subject keywords.

Then click 'Search' to view your results.

Paper copies of older theses and dissertations are kept in the library stores and will need to be retrieved for you. These items have the link 'Available at Store Theses' below them. Click on this link to request store theses. You will need to select the library site at which you wish to view the item (Clifford Whitworth or Media City) before the request is confirmed. Theses and dissertations can't be borrowed and can only be viewed within the library.

Some theses are available in pdf format from the University of Salford's digital repository, USIR. If this is the case, they will be displayed in your search results with a green 'Online access' link underneath the author and title details.

Setting the material type to 'Dissertations' in your advanced search will display a selection of dissertations and theses openly accessible in the digital repositories of universities other than Salford.
