Q. How do I import records from Library Search into EndNote Web?

Answer

When you find the resource (e.g. book or journal) on Library Search that you want to save to EndNote Web, click the title of the item, then the 'send to' option you require (EndNote Web)

Sometimes records for items saved from Library Search may need some editing to make them conform to the referencing style. For advice about this please read pages 4-5 of the EndNote guide, using the following link:

http://www.salford.ac.uk/library/help/user-guides/general/EndNote-Online.pdf

The instructions for saving resources using the desktop version, EndNote X7 are slightly different:

  • When you find the item you want, choose the 'Export RIS' tool.
