Am I entitled to any Student Bursaries?
If you are enquiring about any of the bursaries that are available from the university and the eligibility criteria.
Answer
The bursary that is currently running at the university is called the Salford Inspire Scheme. This bursary scheme gives new UK and International undergraduate students £150 credit to spend on the John Smith online shop. There is no need to apply for this bursary you are automatically awarded the funds providing you meet the eligibility criteria. You can view the criteria on the Salford Inspire Scheme terms and conditions here. The Salford Inspire Scheme’s FAQs are also listed on this site. You can contact the Salford Inspire Scheme customer service team via customer.service@salford-inspire.co.uk.
The university also offers a Loyalty Discount to students who have completed a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral programme with Salford previously. This is currently a 20% tuition fee discount. Students must be studying on a full course and not a “single module programme” or on a “Top-up” programme.
If you have not yet started your course but think you may be eligible for a Loyalty Discount, your eligibility for the Loyalty Discount will be decided as part of the admissions process and you should direct your enquiries towards the relevant Admissions team. If you have already started your course, are progressing into the next year of study and not repeating, and have received the Loyalty Discount previously, the Fees and Awards team can assist you in your enquiries regarding the Loyalty Discount.
