Who are Counselling and Wellbeing? What support is available?

Answer

We are a team of experienced Counsellors and Wellbeing Advisors with a diverse background in mental health settings.

We provide a range of advice and support in managing the various difficulties which students are faced with whilst studying at University.

This can include information and guidance for managing mental health issues, academic difficulties or personal life stress. Typically this is provided in the first instance by telephone consultation with one of our Wellbeing Advisors to explore the type of support you may need, If appropriate, one to one counselling is also available.

If you would like to speak to a Wellbeing Adviser, please could you visit https://www.salford.ac.uk/askus/support/wellbeing-and-counselling where you will find the link to fill out the online wellbeing referral form.  After you have filled out the wellbeing referral form you will be sent a link to book an appointment with a Wellbeing Adviser.

If you have any problems completing the form or would like to ask further questions, please call us on 0161 295 0023 choose option 1 then option 1
