How long will I have to wait to see someone?

Answer

The first step is to complete the wellbeing referral form.

If you would like to speak to a Wellbeing Adviser, please could you visit https://www.salford.ac.uk/askus/support/wellbeing-and-counselling where you will find the link to fill out the online wellbeing referral form.

If you have any problems completing the form or would like to ask further questions, please call us on 0161 295 0023 choose option 1 then option 1

After you have filled out the wellbeing referral form you will be sent a link to book an appointment with a Wellbeing Adviser. You will be able to see when Wellbeing advisers have available appointments. At busy times of the year you may have to wait a few days for an appointment.

If your answers on the referral form indicate you are at some risk then the wellbeing team will arrange a phone triage appointment for the same day and you will be emailed to confirm the appointment time.

During this triage appointment call we will identify how best you can be supported with your difficulties and will make suggestions for next steps which may involve further appointments with the Wellbeing service.
