How can I access support if I am being bullied or harassed, or if someone I know is being bullied or harassed?

Answer

The University prides itself on being a welcoming place for all students and if this is not the case we take it very seriously. We would hope that no one is bullied, harassed or victimized but we have to be realistic and admit very rarely it may happen. If it does happen to you it is important that you do not suffer in silence and report it.

You can make a report with Report and Support which will go to a student adviser who will then get in touch with you to discuss what is happening and how we can best support you: https://reportandsupport.salford.ac.uk/

You can also make an anonymous report on Report and Support. Please note that if you do submit an anonymous report we will not be able to contact you about this.

If you would like to contact us by email about anything related to bullying, harassment or hate crime please email Report-it@salford.ac.uk

Please do remember that for emotional support you can access our wellbeing and counselling service Wellbeing and Counselling | University of Salford

If you are in immediate danger you should call 999.
