Who needs a ‘Right to Study’ check and why?
Answer
Students who hold a nationality outside of the UK and Ireland are required to show their immigration documentation which demonstrate that they have the ‘Right to Study’ before they can register/re-register at the University. It should be noted that fee assessment status, not nationality, is the basis for a right to study check and that some students with a ‘home’ fee assessment status may still be required to have a ‘Right to Study’ check.
